About Case Valuation Report (CVR)
CVR is a Utah company based in Provo. We turn Utah workers' compensation law into clear, consistent benefit estimates for injured workers and the attorneys who represent them.
Who we are

How our estimates are calculated
- Official Utah ratesWe use the Utah Labor Commission payment grid for the fiscal year of the injury date (July 1 – June 30). For injuries from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, the maximum weekly compensation is $1,376.
- Utah lawBenefit types and formulas follow Utah Code Title 34A, Chapter 2 — the Utah Workers' Compensation Act.
- Deterministic formulasThe same inputs always produce the same result. For example, the weekly temporary total disability (TTD) rate is 66.67% of the average weekly wage plus $20 a week for each dependent, kept within the minimum and maximum for the injury year.
- Ranges, not promisesWhen the outcome depends on facts, medical evidence or negotiation — a settlement, for example — we show a low, mid and high range instead of a single number.
- Your information mattersAn estimate is only as accurate as the wage, dates, impairment rating and other details you enter.

What CVR is not
- CVR is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Our numbers are estimates based on the information you enter, not a promise of any benefit, award or settlement.
- CVR is not the Utah Labor Commission or an insurance company. Benefits are decided under Utah law, and disputed claims are resolved by the Labor Commission.
